✌️ PPT Hack

This week is going to be a quick hitter. I’m going to share a simple 6-step tutorial to spice up your PPT presentations.

Let’s be honest, most PPT presentations are downright garbage water.

Mediocre at best.

But I get it…

Your company has worked really hard on putting together sales decks and wants you to use them.

So we’re going to take that deck and 2x it with a few simple steps that anyone can do.

*You will need a tablet for this tip (if you don’t have one) please invest in one. You’ll thank me later.

The 6 Steps to Keep Buyers Engaged

Step 1: Grab your tablet of choice and if you don’t have a stylus - get one.

(I prefer the Apple iPad Pro and Apple pencil)

Step 2: Tablet screens are slippery and can suck to write on.

Get yourself a screen protector like the one from Paperlike.

This will give it a more natural feel.

Step 3: Download the app Goodnotes.

This app has one of the best writing experiences out there and it’s super easy to use.

Step 4: Once you create a “Notebook” use the “import” function in the top right to import your slide deck.

Step 5: You have 3 options in this step.

5a. Use a tablet-to-HDMI converter to plug directly into your monitor to mirror your screen.

5b. Use Apple Airplay if you’re using all Apple

5c. Just join the meeting twice. Once as normal, Once with your iPad - then share your iPad screen.

Step 6:

Use your stylus & the annotation tools to add a visual element to your deck.

Our brains are wired to follow movement.

When we notice something move, we watch it.

Give your audience something to watch.

Give it a go.

That’s it for this week.
