Sales Tip

98% won’t ask

1/ During discovery you realize the incumbent can solve all requirements

98% of sellers will ignore this, because why risk bringing it up?

Elite sellers know this is a trap. Here’s what they ask next:

“Now this may seem strange coming from me, but I know [competitor] has the functionality you’re looking for…were you just not aware or have you already seen it and it wasn’t a fit?”

If you’re new and aren’t sure, try this:

“Curious to know, have you spoken to [incumbent] about this and they told you they can’t do this - or were you just not satisfied with their approach?

Lose on purpose to win more often.

Writing Tip

CopyWork

1/ The process of transcribing copy by hand

It’s one of the most effective ways to get better at writing.

I first learned this from Eddie Shleyner’s newsletter - VeryGoodCopy.

After subscribing you get access to a micro-course called “Master Fascinations”.

Fascinations = sentences designed to conjure intense curiosity and compel action.

He’s curated exact word-for-word examples from the best copywriters in the world and shares a 3-step formula on how to adapt them to your writing.

Whiteboard Frameworks

1/ “I don’t know where to start”…

The 2nd most common excuse, (right behind “I can’t draw”) when asking sellers if they whiteboard.

If that’s you…
