Sales Tip

G2 Competition

1/ Using bad reviews to your advantage

Here’s an underrated hack to dig up some dirt on the competition.

Here’s the step-by-step:

  1. Go to G2

  2. Search the name of a competitor

  3. Select the drop-down near the review stars

  1. Filter on those with a rating of 3 or below

  2. Take notes on the common complaints

Use them in your outreach:

“A common challenge I hear from other customers is both customer support and application speed have seemed to go downhill over the last few years. Is that something you’re seeing as well?”

Visual Tip

Listening takes practice

1/ The best sellers are also the best listeners

The problem?

Most sellers suck at it.

They listen to respond vs. listen to understand.
